Wir haben im Zoo Budapest nachgefragt, wann der Manul gefüttert wird, und haben innerhalb einer Stunde folgende hochinteressante Antwort bekommen:

The feeding time of the manul is 6 am... unfortunately that's before the zoo's opening time (9 am). At other times, the manul is not "hungry" - if we give him the meal later, he doesn't eat it...
